Mendeleev High
Just your average, every day boarding school - for those specially gifted that is.
Mendeleev High can only be reached by the specifically selected students and staff. Why? It's hidden on an island inside of the Bermuda Triangle, on the edge of a small city. These students are gifted with abilities and powers reminiscent of the elements from the periodic table. Along with this comes the students' abilities to achieve a power boost through a reaction with other students called "Synchronicity."
The staff, led by the headmaster, Moseley, make up the group called Periodicity, who have taken it upon themselves to seek out those who have been born with this special gift, extending an all-expenses paid invitation to attend the high-end school. As well as providing the means to harness their powers, the school equips it's students with a quality education to fully prepare the students for their future outside of school.
Naturally, Periodicity has a pressing reason to take such measures to raise their students...to protect the non-gifted humans from another group that believes the world should be reserved for the gifted - and the gifted, only.
This group is small, but over the years they've been growing. Unbeknownst to the Periodicity, they have planted some of their youngest members to pose as students and work to convince the other students to join their evil committee. These "spies" have powers that reflect the Lanthanoids and Actinoids of the periodic table.
Will Periodicity discover this plot and stop the rogue students...or will their efforts be for naught?
Make your choice.
