((OOC: YEAH LET'S TRY TO START SOMETHING! Aah, I hope this is an okay topic. And an okay title--"Club Sign-Ups" didn't have as nice a ring to it.))
"Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it to the Student Activity Fair, so one of our number will have to man our table in my stead." The club members squirmed under Iodine's gaze. He knew that none of them would volunteer for it, but the Film History Club's overwhelming introversion wasn't doing them any good. It would be a miracle if any of them managed to get someone interested in joining, let alone gaze at their table. Whatever the case, it was better to have a table than to go unnoticed.
"Palladium,"
The girl let out a surprised yelp before locking eyes with him. "Y-yeah?"
"You can run the table, right?" -------------------------------------
Compared to other tables, theirs didn't stand out. Their sign was a still from Citizen Kane in all of its greyscale glory with the club's name in a nondescript font. She displayed a few DVD covers on the desk, surrounding the sign-up sheet. Palladium slowly scanned the tables around her. Art clubs, sports clubs, language clubs--all of them with colorful signs and merchandise that they could hand out to interested students. Some of them were even doing demonstrations! Her table was absolutely plain in comparison.
"Maybe this is a good thing..." she mused, backing into her seat. "I won't have to talk to as many people as they will, at least."

New Members. Neon needed them badly. It was hard trying to recruit people to the Calometers, harder then she anticipated in fact. She was sure that perks, like being able to wonder the halls during class would surely bring in some bodies. Her guess was wrong.
"I'm going to check on the booths, will you guys okay on your own?" Neon turned to look at her two recruits who were bright eyed and excited to please their leader.
"Yes Ma'am!" Iron chirped, and was nudged hard in the ribs by Uranium.
"She's a "Miss" not a Ma'am..." Uranium corrected.
Bashfully, Iron clasped her mouth, "Oh right, sorry...Miss."
Waving her hand in dismissal of the two, Neon set off to check on the other booths, and hopefully find some more people. Neon needed someone responsible, someone who couldn't be a push over, someone who was reluctant to break rules. Someone like....her. Sitting underneath a black and white banner was someone Neon knew as an acquaintance, and to her knowledge someone who hadn't broke a rule. Straightening her uniform, Neon marched up confidentially to up to the table where Palladium sat.
"This is the Movie History Club, correct?"

((I AM THE WORST EVER))
"Aaaah! Um, yes, it is!" Palladium wasn't expecting anyone to approach her at the table. Without noticing who Neon was, she quickly went over the club description that she had prepared herself to repeat to anyone who was curious. "We meet twice a week and watch a movie at each meeting. Um, this month's theme is film noir, and we're starting with--oh, gosh, I'm so sorry!"
Neon carried a constant aura of responsibility around her at all times, and always seemed busy. Was she really one who would want to analyze cinematography for an hour? No, she was probably monitoring the fair in some way and making sure that everything was going swimmingly. "Uh, is something the matter?"
